All the experimental treatments were conducted in three replicates and values of different parameters were expressed as a
mean ± standard deviation (SD).

Statistical analyses were performed in order to estimate the effect of solar drying conditions on the total phenols of thyme by using SPSS 10 for Windows and the Tukey test was applied. The P < 0.05 was considered significant.
