Service quality: While Jamaicans are extremely friendly and willing to work and give their best, Jamaican hotel workers seem to lack the level of service quality needed in the industry when compared to other more developed countries. The managers agreed that service quality is higher compared to other Caribbean countries, but it is definitely lacking when compared to more developed countries. Such a sentiment was expressed by 7 out of the 9 managers. One manager believed the service level was average, while the other did not believe it was lower.
