essential to achieve good extrusion conditions (Baran et al., 2001;
Ribeiro et al., 2005). Nevertheless, its study is dependent on several
factors intrinsic to the paste: (i) the water content, (ii) volumetric
fraction, shape and size distribution of the particles, (iii) chemical or
mineralogical composition, (iv) particle surface area, (v) type of interparticle
dominant forces, and also (vi) the presence of other materials
as organic matter
