In this work, our approach is to develop cost-effective ethanol processes which are based on: (i) decreasing energy consumed by utilizing enzymes which are capable of hydrolyzing raw starch at lower temperatures;(ii) saving equipmentinvestment and increasing ethanol yield by using SSF process of cassava flour under VHG condition. This work aimed to develop SSF processes under VHG condition of cassava flour at lab and pilot scales for ethanol production.
