IV. Order Entry
A. Search Table
All Caterpillar parts facilities are searched according to the dealer's established search table
sequence. This sequence should take into consideration optimum transportation service/cost
and should be reviewed periodically. Using the ANTARES EZ23 Customer Master Inquiry
screen can do this. Once the dealer has accessed the conversation, press the "direct access
menu" key, select "search table information" to view search table information.
V. Freight
A. Emergency orders sourced and procured by air out of ADC
1. BO3A charge for items sourced and procured by air out of ADC. The current rate is
US$2.80 per kg based on the gross weight of the package.
2. There is an import charge of 1.5% of D/N price for parts that are stocked at ADC or
procured by sea. This charge represents the average cost of ocean freight and its related
costs of parts shipped from the US and other non-US sources of supply to ADC.
3. Dealers shall bear the inland transportation cost for material transit from ADC to their
location.
VI. Emergency Service Charge Percentage
An Emergency service charge is applied to dealer emergency or warranty orders to (1) recover
costs associated with shipping emergency orders, (2) encourage dealer stocking, and (3) to
prioritize the order filling process.
