2.7. Statistical analysis
All the experiments were done in triplicate and the data presented here represents the mean of these replicates. Data related to the zone of inhibition due to fatty acids were subjected to analysis of variance (one way ANOVA) in Duncan multiple range test
using SPSS (version 10) statistical software.
The differences with p < 0.05 were considered significant.
