The lessons were then video-recorded by the researcher with a focus on the teachers’
enactment of science teaching. The lessons lasted for about 40–50 minutes. (3) A few
days after the lesson the teacher was interviewed once again, this time in a stimulated
recall interview. In this interview the researcher and the teacher discussed the lesson
together to provide information of the teachers’ awareness of the connection
between the intended and enacted object of learning and the learning possibilities
that were offered to the students. The interviews before and after the video-recorded
lesson were tape-recorded and transcribed in verbatim.
