Three future teachers were responsible
for taking detailed notes on the event. Each
was responsible to provide notes on one of
the groups’ work. The author did not assign
the groups but left them to decide for themselves.
The author assigned three other future
teachers to write reports on the overall
activity. Each report (see Appendix A) was
about their reflection on the event and their
observation of the impact of the service learning
activity on the elementary children.
