Topic : Bangkok's Air Pollution Can Be Solved.
Bangkok is the capital city of Thailand with a large population of approximately 9 million people. Each year the number of vehicles used increases. Since 1990, the number of vehicle registration has increased on average by 341,275 vehicles per year. The problem is people have an increased capacity for purchasing vehicles. However, Thailand’s Transport Portal reported that the increase of cars has resulted in a serious increase in air pollution, especially in the more heavily populated district areas. I agree that this problem is serious, but there are solutions. In this essay, I will illustrate the main causes of the problem: an increase of vehicle demand due to an increase of population, lack of bio-fuel usage, and the irresponsible management of factories. In order to decrease air pollution problem, solutions already used in other countries can be utilized and these will be highlighted in the solution provided.
