Min Ho buried his face in his hands. How in the world did this happen? Were we being too careless? He could hear his manager shouting at someone outside his hotel room, while the rest of his staff were busy on their phones, trying to contact their people back home.
‘Your Chinese agents are on their way,’ his stylist told him. ‘They’ve been doing damage control since the articles came out.’
Min Ho raked his hand through his hair and looked at his phone on the table. Shin Hye wasn’t answering his calls. It was only 7 AM in Guangzhou, which means it was only 8 AM in Tokyo. She had called him late last night and said that she and her family just came back from Osaka. He figured she must still be sleeping.
He heard the door open and his manager come in. He didn’t look too happy.
‘Bad news,’ the ahjusshi told Min Ho as he massaged his temples. ‘We couldn’t stop it. The original source reached out to their sister company in Korea. Chosun Ilbo just released this article,’ he sighed and showed Min Ho his phone.
Each word felt like a jab to the face as Min Ho read the headline.
‘Chinese Media Report Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye in a Secret Relationship’
------------
I'm baaaaaaccccckkkk!!!!! Hey everyone! As some of you probably know (mostly my friends here on AFF -- if we're not friends yet, add me up so you can also read my blog where I post my notices of absence haha), I was busy these past few weeks studying for my finals. So I'm REALLY SORRY that this update took forever. It broke my heart whenever I read comments asking me where I am and when I can update. But thanks for your understanding and your well-wishes! I think I did okay in my exams. HAHA.
I have two one-shot fics: Fateful Coincidences (a short story about an encounter between Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye a few years back) and The Target (a short story about Park Shin Hye as an assassin. No Lee Min Ho though, sorry Minshin shippers hehe). Do check them out if you haven't and tell me what you think. :)
Gosh I missed all of you!
