She is our Spa Director, she is responsible of :
1. The Spa Director is accountable for ensuring all Spa staff are capable and proficient in all their respective duties and day-to-day operational activities to meet with the Gem Spa’s objectives and standards.
2. Lead and motivate Spa staff to a level of service which exceeds all guest expectations by facilitating teamwork and ensuring all duties are performed in a consistent manner and in the time allocated.
3. To maintain close contact with guests, receiving feedback regarding the operation of the Spa and recreational facilities of the hotel.
4. Ability to manage cultural diversity.
5. To market the service of the spa facilities both in the hotel as well as in the local and regional market with the assistance of Public Relation Manager.
6. To ensure that all facilities are operating efficiently to achieve the highest possible revenues and profit.
7. Act in accordance with all hotel policies, personnel policies, spa policies and procedures including all Health and Sanitary regulations.
8. Provide optimum service through staff training, coaching, feedback and ensuring adequate staffing levels.
9. Monitor products and accessories used in the Spa to ensure all budgets are achieved and adhered to.
10. To assist in the preparation of yearly operating, operating equipment and capital expenditure budget.
11. Co-ordinate with the needs of the department to ensure the smooth operation, cleanliness and maintenance of the entire Spa, sports facilities and its equipment.
12. Assist in the building of an efficient team of employees by striving to maintain standards of excellence.
13. Conduct employee evaluations for all Spa positions, review existing performance and identify any areas for further development and improvement.
14. Interview potential new employees in liaison with the personnel department.
15. Offer suggestions and makes recommendations to the management on ideas for improving the spa operation and performance.
