rated by those they lead as well as those that supervise them. These types of 360 degree
studies on leadership are conducted in the field of business. Secondly, the relatively
lower number of racial and ethnically diverse respondents made meaningful comparisons
difficult. Of the 182 participants only 28 (15.6%) were categorized as a Person of Color.
This is less than current statistics on the race/ethnicity of academic institutions which
stand at 18.4%. Given these low numbers, the results of questions regarding racial/ethnic
