The purpose of this non-experimental quantitative correlational study was to use
the TAM to assess the impact of the independent variables computer self-efficacy,
infrastructure support, and technical support on the primary dependent variable intention
to use IT. Computer self-efficacy is an individual’s perception of his or her ability to use
a computer system in accomplishing a job task (Chau, 2001). Infrastructure support is
the adequacy of the deployment of IT infrastructure (such as network, server, and
database) in an organization to support job performance and to improve the quality of the
users’ job (Bhattacherjee & Hikmet, 2008). Technical support is the availability of
specialist staff to assist IT users in the proper use of computer systems or to assist them in
resolving their IT related problems
