The study of “Tourism Industry and Change in Nong Hoi Kao Village, Nong Hoi Royal Project, Mae Rim District, Chiang Mai Province” has 3 objectives: 1) to study the development and forms of tourism that led to the tourism industry in the area of community Nong Hoi Kao. 2) To study it's economic growth and land usage as a result of the tourism development of the community Nong Hoi Kao. 3) To analyze trends in the transformation of the community Nong Hoi Kao due to the expansion of the tourism industry in the future. This study was based on three data sources which are the research data from every questionnaires and interviews of 70 household samplings, government related data and on site agencies together with satellite pictures.
The study found that the change of local economy and land usage in the Nong Hoi Kao during 2547- 2552 , the community's economy growth mainly come from its cultural tourism Industryand agricultural products. Then therefore they focused on the the completion of basic utilities in order to be ready to become a tourist destination. Later in the year 2553 -2558 the community airned to increase not only productivity of their agricultural products but also tourism industry business to become a full-ranged tourism destination including natural tourist attraction , agricultural tourist attraction and cultural tourist attraction.
Recently the result of study on changing trend toward tourism industry business of Nong Hoi Kao village had show that its local people tend to forest the importance of their local tourism business and contribute more on land usage for that as well as applying "small and micro community enterprise" for management of their income distribution.
