Adisak's last-gasp goal completed Thailand's comeback in their second Group B game of the biennial event.
In last night's other Group B match, hosts Singapore beat Myanmar 4-2.
Thailand, who defeated Singapore in their opening game on Sunday, have six points, Singapore four points, and Malaysia and Myanmar one point each.
Hosts Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Laos are in Group A which is being held Hanoi.
The top two teams of each group reach the semi-finals which will be played on a home-and-away basis next month.
