The objectives of the present investigation were to evaluate
the efficiency of different solvents in extracting the active principles
from tested plants, and to elucidate their oxidative actions.
To measure the antiradical activities of the tested aromatic plant
extracts using the stable radical, 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazylhydrate
(DPPH•) in comparison with some commercially available
antioxidants. Also determine the antimicrobial activities of plant
extracts and essential oils by using the disc-diffusion method and
