If Option 1 is chosen as the solution, it involves at least three suboptions; if Option 2 is selected, several possibilities are available by which the decision can be implemented. Of the three possible courses of action that can be taken if a decision is made to retain the incumbent, the possibility of restoring the individual to a satisfactory level of performance cannot be overlooked.
