catalysts by providing a path way for faster reaction of the subs trate with the oxidiz ed form of the
catalyst. We therefore look at these and some related reactions to probe orga nometa llic ligand loss und er
oxidative condition s, a topic tha t has received too litt le attention cons idering its importa nt implicat ions.
Ligand loss can also affect applic ations to asymme tric catalysis and heterogenized homogene ous catalysts wh ere the organome tallic ligand is func tionali zed with a homoc hiral subs tituent or a tether to a
