Regarding the dispute of double charge from our mutual guest, we kindly ask you to provide proof of refund. We require this statement for three purposes:
1. To provide the guest with a copy of said refund as a business formality.
2. To protect the interest(s) of the hotel should the guest claim they have not been refunded.
3. So that all parties involved, the guest, the hotel, and Booking.com, may have a physical copy of the refund for reference should any later discrepancies arise.
