An integrative membrane coagulation adsorption bioreactor
(MCABR) with simultaneous dosing of polyaluminium chloride
(PACl) as the coagulant and powdered activated carbon (PAC) as
adsorbent into the bioreactor has demonstrated a great capacity of
removal of organic matter from the slightly polluted surface water
