The Global Action Report on Preterm Birth provides the first-ever national ,regional ,and global estimates of preterm birth. The report shows that preterm birth is on the rise in most countries and is now the second leading cause of death globally for children under five, after pneumonia [2].The born too soon report, published in 2012,drew global attention to the issue of preterm birth and reported that more than 1 in 10 of the world’s babies are born too soon each year, 15 million each year[3–5].
