For people in general, the output of stress
hormones, such as epinephrine, norepinephrine and
cortisol, changes in reaction to stress. The secretion
of epinephrine is influenced by pleasant as well as
unpleasant mental activity [1], whereas the output of
cortisol is mainly stimulated by intense negative
emotional stress such as fear, anxiety and lack of
control [2,3]. Norepinephrine, which is also a
transmittor in the sympathetic nervous system, is
especially sensitive to physical demands and body
posture [1].
