I need you to change the ¾ expanded metal in the Tekla model. What is being shown is some type of 3/4” plate. This plate is calculated at the same weight as ¾” plate which is 30.6# per square foot. The attached sheet shows the flattened expanded metal as 75# per 100 square feet. That is .75# per square foot.
We would also like to show this material as its actual thickness of 1/16”.
¾” PL = 30.6# per square foot - 1/16 Flattened Expanded Metal = .75# per square foot.
The shipping weights and the center of gravity weights are skewed way off by this discrepancy.
I am not sure how we change the weight without changing the material callout (GPL) designation that Troy directed us to use, but that’s what we need. Enrique is researching this now. He will let us know what he finds out.
