The purpose of this study was to describe happiness of student nurses and to determine the relationships between students’ factors, Instructional process, supporting factors and happiness of student nurses. 174 student nurses were recruited by purposive sampling. Data were collected by questionnaires: 1) Instructional process questionnaires, 2) Supporting factors 3) Thai mental health indicator (TMHI). The reliability of questionnaires was 0.80, 0.93 and 0.92. Data were analyzed by percentage, mean, standard deviation, Pearson’s product moment correlation and Eta correlation.
Results found that most of student nurses were happy, receive high level of instructional process and high supporting factors. High correlation between learning achievement, Instructional process, support factors and happiness were significant (Eta = 0.787, r = 0.372, r = 0.330; p –value < 0.001).
These finding suggest that instructors should develop an intervention program encourage instructional process with happiness; off class learning, participatory learning and using various media.
