Measurement of blood pressure
In both procedures, the participants arrived at the
location twenty minutes before the session begins to organization and measuring blood pressure and heart
rate prestressing. At the end of the session, the volunteers
went to a comfortable place and remained sitting
there for 60 minutes to the measurement of passive recovery
blood pressure. This procedure was performed
immediately after the effort and every five minutes until
the twentieth minute of recovery, from then on blood
pressure was measured every 10 minutes. The method
used to evaluate blood pressure was the auscultatory,
and in all cases the measurement was performed by the
same examiner, who used the aneroid Dickinson Becton
sphygmomanometer, and the stethoscope Becton
Dickinson Duo-SoNic.
