The bioavailabilty of metals is often affected by a variety of parameters; among considered in this study are the metal concentration in water, sediment, organic matter content and percent silt. Using these variables, analysis was employed to determine what greatly affects the bioconcentration of Cu in the C. macrocephalus from Butuanon River. The derived regression equation (R = 89.9) affecting copper concentration in C. macrocephalus is shown below: (4)
Cu (Fish) = 1.36 + 0.00800 Cu (Sediment) - 67.1 Cu (Water) - 0.0288 (Organic Matter)
