It was my first time outside Thailand. It was December 2003; I was only 6 years old and got to fly to Paris with my family. It was the best trip ever. Although it was almost 10 years ago, still, it was unforgettable.
When my family and I arrived at the Airport, everything was so different from Thailand, such as architectures, people, the weather and much more. It was Christmas week and I got shocked by the weather; it was colder than my bedroom in Thailand. We stayed at my mother's close friend’s place and he volunteered himself to be our tour guide for the whole trip.
We went to many places, such as Avenue des Champs-Élysées, Eiffel Tower, Disneyland, and Château de Versailles. I love those artists who painted sceneries on the street. The best place was definitely Disneyland. At first I thought Disneyland was just a small theme park, but this trip changed my mind. Although I was so small that I couldn't play some of the rides, due to my height, but I was so lucky to be tall enough to be able to play roller coaster and of course it was the best roller coaster ever. Honestly, I could walk around Disneyland for the whole day.
The French food is something I thought it was weird. We went to some restaurants, the restaurant itself was weird. In front of the restaurant, it was decorated with some fake sheep and a Santa hat on it. We ordered some dishes and the decoration of the dish was even weirder than the fake sheep in front of the restaurant. The taste of the food wasn’t bad for me, but not my favorite.
We spent our whole Christmas week in Paris and back to Thailand on January first, 2004. The trip was awesome but I wish I could see some snow. Paris is a place for couples, a good place to see some wonderful arts on the street, eat some food that can’t be seen in many places. If I have a chance to go back to Paris, I would probably go back to Paris again.
