Faculty of Engineering
History
The Faculty of Engineering was established in 1994 at Burapha University in response to the rapid growth of Eastern Industrial Estate. The aims of the Faculty are to produce human resources who posses expertise in engineering field as well as to provide technology consultations and technical services. The Faculty has firstly offered programs in Chemical Engineering and Industrial Engineering with effective staffs from the university and industries. Over the past decade, the undergraduate programs have extended to various engineering fields including Civil engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. At present, undergraduate students in the Faculty are required to complete 4-year course work including practical training course. The undergraduate students are offered a training course in several industries due to the Faculty linkage and collaborations with the industries. Recently, the Faculty has launched national and international Master Programs in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management and Chemical Engineering in accordance with local industrial requirement.
Electrical Engineering
Electrical engineering is the study about analysis and design of any systems related to Electrical Theories. The department aims to produce engineers with sufficient basic knowledge in diverse major fields of electrical engineering, which include Electronics, Electrical power, Computer, and Telecommunication.
