of Mg through the gas phase is easy; and (4) its melting point
is 922 K (649C), and it can be recovered and re-used by
condensing as a pure solid. Furthermore, Mg is one of the
newer materials whose usage is expected to increase with the
growth of lightweight structural material such as the casings
of laptops, and as a result, the availability of Mg scrap is also
expected to increase.
