Ethnographic literature on post-Soviet dietary patterns is limited but promising,
^aglar addresses changes in the marketing of Turkish fast-food in Germany after
the fall of the Berlin Wall (C^aglar 1999), whereas Ziker discusses food sharing and
the moral code of aboriginal peoples in post-Soviet Siberia (Ziker 1998). Chatwin
explores extensively the transformation of foodways in the Republic of Georgia,
detailing the social, political, and economic context (Chatwin 1997).
