Dear Dr. Songkiat ka,
As spoken on the phone, we’ve got a bit problem with DCA regarding the T-value on the new build helideck (T15, T16, TSD, TAT, TAM, SKD T18). Recently we’ve just got the request from DCA to repaint the T-value on T16 and TAT (Ao Thai) to 12.0t as per the helideck design and study by Thai Engineer ka; the repaint is required in order to renew the landing permit ka. And they wouldn’t want to hear any reason as they mentioned that it was from Thai Engineer certified although we tried to explain many times ka. Therefore, we’d like your kind support to issue the statement to inform them that each rig below has the capacity of its load rating of the deck as per the design and drawing not limited to MTOW of S92 which is 12,020 kgs ka. The statement is also required the signature of Thai engineer ka.
T-Value on each rig:
- T15 – 12.8t
- T16 – 12.8t
- TSD (Siam Driller) – 13.0t
- TAT (Ao Thai)– 13.0t
- TAM (Andaman) – 13.0t
- SKD T18 – 12.8t
