With the purpose of understanding what drives wiki users to
search for information and how they take advantage of available
knowledge for internalization, the following scenarios are
suggested in the literature:
• To solve the immediate problem they have in hands
• To know how to perform a procedure
• To learn about a procedure
• To know more about a specific subject
• To understand the reasons that lead to a decision being
made
• To look for solutions to similar problems they have in
hands
• In order to update themselves on a specific subject
• To access information, in general .
