THE ENVIRONMENT OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP
The entrepreneur functions best in a free enterprise environment. There is sufficient evidence to show that entrepreneurship does occur in restrictive societies (including the former Soviet Republics) as well as well as in fundamentalist Islamic regimes. Nevertheless, the dynamic growth of new technology firms (enterprises that offer innovative methods and systems to the marketplace), and those that serve to reeducate society, i.e., computer software-CD ROM systems, are best tested within a free, unrestricted market.
