Qualifications:
•Bachelor Degree of Engineering in any field
•10 years professional experience in safety and 5 offshore or heavy construction related industry
•Good command of spoken and written English
•Good PC skills on e-mail, Microsoft Word and Power Point
•Good communication and presentation skills
•Relevant experience in Offshore Construction Industry
•NEBOSH Professional safety certification or equivalent is preferable
•Managerial skills
Responsibilities:
•Provide advice and assist all levels of Installation Department personnel and HUC team to execute their specific responsibilities with application of expert knowledge in Safety.
•Monitor safety performance of Installation and HUC works and make sure it meets agreed corporate annual goals; identifies problem areas, and recommend action plans to improve the performance.
•Take the lead role in Installation Department and HUC Team to develop annual HES plan, and follow up with all concerned parties the execution of the plan. Prepare Installation and HUC safety performance report monthly.
•Ensure effectiveness of Offshore Installation and HUC safety programs
•Evaluate subcontractor HES performance and management system and make recommendations before awarding and during project execution.
•Take consulting role for and lead the implementation of HES programs including IIF within the Installation Department, HUC team and subcontractors.
•Conducts HES audits on Installation & HUC subcontractors and partnering with subcontractors to upgrade their HES MS as deemed appropriate to improve their HES
•performance.
•Provide HES induction and training for Installation Department personnel and HUC team.
•Ensure that everything of safety side is in place as per Instruction and client requirement.
