The test culture was transferred into a sterilized broth. The broth is then incubated for few h at 35 °C till it becomes slightly turbid. By using a sterile cotton swab the standardized bacterial test suspension was inoculated evenly on the entire surface of sterile Muller Hinton Agar plates. Antibiotic discs were placed on the surface of the medium and plates were incubated on 37 °C for 24 h. The antimicrobial activity was interpreted from the diameter of zone of inhibition which was measured in millimeter.
