the descriptive statistics are revealed in Table 1 .The standardized regression model is used to test H1-H4 .The empirical results are presented in table2. In Model1, the independent variables are control variable only ,which is a base model. To examine whether an increment in the proportion of variance was accounted for by model modification was examined using an F-test.
Discussion and conclusions
The major findings of this study are as follows. First, this study examines the impact of organizational slack on new venture performance in the Chinese transition economy.
The results show that there is a negative relationship between absorbed slack firm performance. and that the unsorbed slack and new venture performance have an inverse U-Shaped link between them In addition. these results suggest that different types of organizational slack have diverse impacts on new venture performance.
Second, this study's results reveal that environmental munificence and dynamism have significant moderating effect on the relationship between organizational slack and new venture performance. In a high-munificence environment, the negative relationship between absorbed slack and performance will be weaker, and the inverse U-shaped relationship between unsorbed slack and performance becomes stronger. Moreover, environment dynamism positively moderates the relationship between absorbed slack and performance.
