xanthopterin,andat445nmfortheanalysisoftheotherpteridines.Detectionlimitsbetween0.07
and 0.61ngmL1 werecalculatedaccordingtoClaytoncriterium.Intradayprecisionvariedfrom1.2to
5.3 andinterdayprecisionbetween1.2and7.4,bothexpressedasRSD(%).Externalstandardand
standard additioncalibrationswerecomparedintheanalysisofserumsamples.Thepteridineamounts
in serum(expressedasngmL17confidence interval)were3.6971.78;1.3570.24; 0.4670.14;
0.5470.24; 0.8470.55; 2.1070.51and0.2370.11forXAN,NEO,MON,ISO,BIOand6HMPT,
