Seventeen specimens of D. marianae (3 females;
14 males), ranging DW 23.2 to 29.8 cm and 480 to 981 gin weight were obtained. Three individuals presented
empty stomachs, two containing only amorphous
substance (stomach contents in advanced digestion
degree, precluding identification), one presented
only sediments and the remaining presented some
prey item. Evidences of regurgitation and gastric
eversion were not observed.
