Makeup baking, also known as cooking, can create a flawless, seamless finish under the eyes. (It's been popular among the drag community for years.) Essentially, it involves letting your concealer warm up for 10-20 minutes before blending; a generous helping of loose powder keeps everything in place.
"This technique can work if you're looking for full coverage," Reagan says. "But keep in mind that while applying powder foundation with a heavy hand looks great on camera, it often looks overdone in person."
For coverage that looks natural IRL, he recommends a three-step process. First, moisturize with eye cream. Then, use a flat-headed, synthetic-haired brush to apply a pink or peach corrector such as Bobbi Brown Intensive Skin Serum Corrector and Concealer. To finish, follow with a concealer that is one to two shades lighter than your skin tone. "This will instantly erase darkness, lift your eye and brighten your face," Reagan promises.
