We all know that the fast family will return in Fast and Furious 8, released in 2017 but without Paul Walker. The question is: who will replace him in the eighth installment of the franchise?
After Furious 7’s massive box office success, Universal Studios is already preparing for a sequel of the hit franchise. But the question remains as to who will replace Paul’s Walker’s fan favourite character Brian, in the Fast and Furious 8.
After Paul Walker’s last appearance in the seventh sequel of Fast and Furious, his friends, family and fans gave him an emotional farewell and Furious 7 crossed the $1 billion mark within a month of its release.
However, the eighth sequel of the blockbuster franchise would indeed live on, and there are rumours that Kurt Russell may fill the void for the late star. Rumors are currently circulating that Russell, who played covert ops team leader, Mr. Nobody in “Furious 7,” is being groomed for a larger part in the eighth film that’s been scheduled for release on April 14, 2017.
Diesel hinted at a bigger role for Russell, who made his first appearance in the Fast and Furious franchise, during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and revealed that Russell’s Mr Nobody character was introduced for a larger story that takes place in New York, Comic Book reported.
