Having taken this entire context into account, this paper presents new experimental data of micro-scale flow boiling heat transfer in 2.32 mm ID horizontal stainless steel tube 464 mm long. This diameter was selected based on the fact that for halocarbon refrigerants and under Earth’s gravity, according to the current literature, an internal diameter of 2.3 mm seems within the range for the transition between micro- and macro-scale flow boiling behaviors
