Table 1 indicates that the difference between the mean scores of the experimental group and control groups on
pretest was found to be non significant at 0.05 level. Hence, both the groups were found to be almost equal before
intervention. The comparison of posttest scores reflects that the difference between the mean scores of experimental
and control groups after treatment was significant at 0.05 level. Thus the experimental group outperformed the control
group. However, the difference between the mean retention scores of the experimental group and that of the control
group was not significant.
