of fascioliasisincattledroppingswas88.8%.Thelowprevalenceofschoolchildrenthattestedpositivefor
Fasciola spp. withspecificmoleculardiagnosticsandwhohadnodiagnosticevidenceof F. buski strongly
indicates thatthemajorityofmicroscopicallyobservedLTEarefrom Echinostoma spp. Fasciola spp.
transmission fromcattletohumanispossibleandpublichealthservicesneedtobealertedaccordingly.
