What to expect with the tool
When using the tool, you'll be asked to provide an email address other than your Yahoo Mail account's.
Once the Quick Fix tool's scan is finished, typically within a couple of hours, you'll get a summary email from us at the address you provided.
The summary email will contain one or more of the following:
A summary of what the scan found.
- If no actual problem is found with your account, we'll provide steps for you to fix the issue you reported.
Any next steps you need to take.
Suggestions for changing settings in your account that we didn't do automatically.
