Regardless of the seed source, osmotic potential at full turgor
(JpFT) increased (became less negative) in water stressed plants if
compared to their well watered counterparts (NIV ¼ 9%).
3.2.4. RAPD
6 primers, among the 10 primers used, were capable to
discriminate between J. curcas accession here examinated. Fig. 5A
shows the amplification product derived from using OPG 10, OPD
14, OPF 11 primers The RAPD dendrogram showed a single lineage
pattern (Fig. 5, B) where Brazilian and Tanzania accessions show
a strong molecular similarity whereas from the Suriname one
(Fig. 5, C).
