Rolls-Royce, a world-leading provider of power systems and services for use on land, sea and air, has established a strong position in four distinct global business units - civil aerospace, defence aerospace, marine as well as energy. All of these are strongly represented in Singapore, a key business hub for the company.
From its entry into Singapore in the 1950s, Rolls-Royce has grown its presence to become a major player in the country’s aerospace industry, accounting for over 15 per cent of Singapore’s aerospace output. Through joint ventures with key local industry partners including Singapore Airlines Engineering Company, and activities in the energy and marine sector, Rolls-Royce is expecting considerable growth to its operations in and around the region.
