Vitamin C is one of the most important nutritional components in Chinese kale as well as in many other horticultural
crops. This is the first report on Vitamin C content in Chinese kale as leafy vegetable, and our results showed that Chinese kale as leafy vegetable is a rich source of Vitamin C. In our current survey, plant hormone treatments exerted little effect on Vitamin C content at 6 d after application, except that the content was reduced by almost one third after SA root irrigation treatment
