NADES has also been reported (Morrison et al., 2009). The solubility
of benzoic acid, griseofulvin, danazol and itraconazol increased 5 to
22,000 folds compared to water (Morrison et al., 2009). Water soluble
molecules like cinnamic acid and DNA have also been reported to be
even more soluble in some NADES (Dai et al., 2013). Morrison et al.
(2009) demonstrated that an optimal solubilization requires the
presence of all the components in the eutectic system and is not simply
due to the interactions between the drug and either component in the
solution (Morrison et al., 2009).
