The Senior Manager, FP&A Residential will be responsible leading the development of all planning initiatives (budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans), coordinating all corporate reporting requirements as well as providing support, ongoing business modeling and analysis, and business performance metrics as directed by the Sr Director Finance, Residential as well as assessing the impact of various corporate projects and transactions.
Develop, manage, and coordinate all planning processes for Residential Business Unit in compliance with corporate and business unit requirements and needs.
Coordinate, manage, and ensure the accuracy of all the monthly Residential Business Unit corporate and management reporting packages.
Works with the Sr. Finance Director, Residential to manage and perform analyses and research in all financial areas such as revenue, expense performance, and cash flow.
Develops, prepares, and analyzes financial reports based on actual, forecast, and budget data as required.
For assigned projects; prepares detail of work plan and schedule, completes detailed analysis and research, identifies options, prepares reports for management, and recommends action or change.
Understand Residential Business and ADT’s current business measures and is able to research the usage of additional measures.
Maintain the Hyperion databases (Essbase/Enterprise) for FP&A to ensure accurate and proper presentation of Residential Business Unit Financials.
Provide finance support to other Finance organizations (including Investor Relations and Treasury functions) as needed.
Supports the Sr. Finance Director of Residential to review departmental actual expenses versus budget and forecast. Issues monthly variance statements. Works with department/field managers to develop action plans and measure their results.
Responsible for the preparation of monthly and quarterly presentations to both senior leadership and external stakeholders.
Oversee the completion of projects as assigned, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work; evaluating results, etc.
Conducts special financial and business related studies as requested and other duties as assigned.
Engages in the typical responsibilities of a manager as/if required; staffing, conducting performance appraisals, training and developing subordinates, promotions, salary increases, terminations, disciplinary actions, etc
