In addition, 2340 (51.9%) carious teeth were observed
among the 5-year-olds living in P.P., and 1915 (42.5%) and 425
(9.4%) of these teeth were classified as Ci and Ch,
respectively.
Finally, 1201 (18.6%) carious teeth were observed in the 12-
year-olds living in P.P., and 1100 (17.0%) and 101 (1.6%) of these
teeth were categorized as Ci and Ch, respectively.
There were no differences in the severity of caries between
S.R. and P.P. in any age group.
